I specialise in the design of special purpose machines, automated assembly and test cells, fixtures, tooling and gauging within the Manufacturing Engineering Environment... Emphasis is on the design and detail of any type of Engineering work for companies of all types and sizes.
I can undertake any design and drawing work on site at client’s premises or at my office.

I am fully experienced in the following aspects....

Aerospace / Automotive

Experienced in designing Mechanical/Hydraulic Fixturing

Competent in the use of AutoCAD, Solidworks. ProE Wildfire & Creo.

Knowledge of machining process and cutting tools, hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools/Excel/Word/Outlook and Project.

I have over 25 years of experience in Jig and Tool Design for both the Automotive and Aerospace Industries.

Experienced in designing Special Purpose Machines, automated assembly and test cell fixturing and tooling and gauging for all types of components in Aluminium or Cast Iron.

I am a team player, able to work on own initiative and am confident in meeting deadlines and working to exacting timescales.

I am flexible in outlook with the ability to take on new and challenging projects.

I have excellent communication skills at all levels both written and verbal. I have multi-disciplined experienced in modern proactive manufacturing techniques, cellular manufacturing. Kaisen, JIT, Poke Yoke, SMED and am skilled in manufacturing techniques with an emphasis on total quality, continuous improvement and lean manufacturing six sigma.

I am also fully computer literate.

My aim is to form a partnership with valued and trusted clients, assisting them with qualified engineering and Advanced Manufacturing Design Technology. Intergrating my technical and personnel resource with the client's organisation, providing work of the higest quality........
